I did some wet cupping also known as Hijma which is Blood letting by means of small cutts on the surface of skin, Then using a vacuum cup to pull out a small amount of blood. See here for example ,
The results were very good just after few treatments.
It can be used for various ailments as I have read.
Interesting to me was that it removes old blood with toxins from the blood and local joints, and flushes the joints with nutrients allowing mobility of joints....I realized how powerful Wet cupping can be...
Another thing is if cupping is done over the area of Thymus gland it can stimulate and regulate the Thymus which may be over active in our case.
The Thymus is partly responsible for white blood cells namely T Killer cells and B helper cells and other antibody cells....so regulating it to a calmer state is good for us with AS.
You could also do dry cupping which is also beneficial...
