It has been a long time since I have posted. I look in once in a while. I always seemed too busy to really take any time.
I am still getting around and out in the wild. My Sassy mule passed away as well as Homer. I know have Waco,Tank and Georgie. Leroy, Lou, Maggie and Bailey have all passed on. I now have Tina,Samantha, Rooster and Snickers.
I have some pictures as usual but I’m my low tech way not sure how to post them.
I still think of all my friends here every time I go out. This place saved my life. I remember every one that took the time to talk to someone who had no clue and not much hope in the future.
I’m not sure of I can help anyone in the same way but I am willing to try. I am still active just retired and hiking 3 miles a day four days a week.

If anyone has a question for me drop me a line. I will answer.
I really want to thank John and Annie are true friends.

ETTE
Darrel.

Wonderful to see Your post (finally)! And congratulations on retiring and staying in very good shape!! Three miles a day in a NORMAL environment is an achievement, but in that desert it is a serious accomplishment. We hope to see You sometime before we return to Philippines mid-November. Sorry about Sassy and Homer; regret not meeting them in person. You are one of the best reasons for this site, and I know that we have a lot more to do together! Love to You and Jayme and family,
HEALTH Always
John
