If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello Kickers...
Update on my diet... started NSD way back in March 2002... so now more than 21 1/2 years. Started after had to come off medications for good after years taking them for elevated liver enzymes and found this site and began my journey on diet.
A lot of ups and downs with first year on diet.. documented on here with my questions, mostly with energy and keeping my weight as was already slender. But thanks to everyone at site got some answers and kept moving forward.
Diet is still my cornerstone... but now I am Low Starch, last 5+ years trying to do more with healing the gut. Had tried various things in past (supplements, probiotics...), but never had major improvement. But for last 5+ years started intermittent fasting... every Friday I would not eat until dinner typically around 6pm, just tea and lots of water. Tried some brown rice and tolerated it without issue and started eating it couple of times a week. So about 1 1/2 years ago added 2nd Tuesday fast with same routine not eating until 6pm and now I eat brown rice 4+ times a week and no issues and also have sweet potatoes (very delicious here) and an occasional banana.
I really believe the fasting has really helped to improve my GI... I had done Edgar Cayce apple fast for 3 days maybe 1-2 times a year at most for a few years. I noticed that it had helped some with my weight/energy issues.. now wish I would have done a few more times a year and stuck with it more and I think I may have seen healing of GI much quicker. For those interested in healing the GI, I do suggest researching and looking into intermittent fasting. Other forms of fasting I have no experience other than Edgar Cayce that I learned here. The 3 days is a bit more difficult, especially with family. I also experienced the toxic cleansing first couple times I did it... headaches, some pains etc.. before undertaking that definitely need to reseach and consider your health condition presently at.
Best to everyone out there on their journey to battle AS!
Special thanks to Dragonslayer for keeping this site going and all the advice early on. Wish I could see you again... but now live very far away, "una abrazo" as they say here.
AS may win some battles, but I will win the war.

Tonights dinner was big salad... home grown kale and celery from my small garden, red and green cabbage, carrots, cherry tomato and brown rice (low starch) and avacado. Avacados would also trigger my AS in the past, but now with healing the gut I tolerate.
Wife has ate avacados for quite some time... they have healthy fat and wanted to try something else than scrambled eggs, cheese or grilled chicken with my salads and gave it a go starting about a month ago and like it. So once a week now my salad will include avacado.
AS may win some battles, but I will win the war.

Honestly if it wasn’t for John ( Dragon Slayer) and your posts..I would likely be on biologicals. Instead I just keep NS/Low starch…and do my fasting protocols.
I so appreciate this group
