If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

This subject was brought up by ladybuggie back in September so bear with me because I am really curious about this. Oh by the way, hi I am new!! I have been "lurking" around the site for the last month or so. Anyways, what I have been trying to figure out is....what are these little red bumps on my forehead? I have had them for about 6 years and I have been treating them with some presciptive cream (in the past) and now finally The Body Shop tea tree oil facial wash. The tea tree keeps it to a minimum but the best is that Clinique acne stuff. Pricey but it really worked. It is not like pimples, it is more like a little rash across my forehead and down my temples. You can't really notice them (except for me of course) but get my face in a good light...yuck! Fortunately I was always blessed with clear skin so this is really odd for me. Just recently I was watching The View and they were talking about acne. I wasn't really paying attention until they starting talking about the different kinds. Sure enough they showed a picture of something similar to mine...and guess what it is called? Inflammatory acne. So I started thinking about it and I realized that this stupid rash/bumps came along the exact time I first started to develop symptoms of AS.
What do you think...coincidence or relative to AS??
(wooo hoo this is cool)

Hello Erin...welcome to the site....good to see another Canadian join our ranks....I am also from Ontario, just a little north of you in Midalnd Ont. The red bumps....I get them from time to time aswell and have read that this is also common as a side effect from some of the meds we take. Can't remember for sure but I think it was Methtrexate. Hopefully someone with a better memory will reply with better information. Dan. Who knows what the drugs will do to us?

See...the thing is, I have only been taking Celebrex for about a year so I am not sure if it is the meds. Midland, eh? I actually live in Oakville at the moment and from reading some of the posts it looks like there was a party here in Oakville awhile back. Thanks for the welcome!

Hey there Erin, I am the one who hosted that party in Oakville, living in the Third Line/Westoaks Trail area. Welcome to the site. Sorry, but I can't help you with the acne. You have definately come to the right place for help, and I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help you out. Doug Buster & Alisha taking a break

The party was in Toronto but it included a BBQ at Doug's place in Oakville and it was a BBQ and party to remember. Hopefully you will make it to the next one. Dan. Who knows what the drugs will do to us?

Thanks Stevec! I have never been in any chat forum, ever, so this is really new to me. A friend of mine who I met through my rheumatologist introduced me to this site and I was absolutely blown away by the number of people involved first of all and secondly all the information and things you guys talk about. Plus I don't know how to use the animated faces yet so I resorted to a written exclamation. Thanks for the welcome!

Erin, Firstly welcome to the site - stick around, it gets addictive Quick note on using the smileys and stuff - if you click on the FAQ link above and right it will take you through how to use them... However a quick lesson if you type in a square bracket [ smile] = (just take out the space - I left it there so you can see it. [ cool]= [ grin]= [ laugh2]= and so on. Hope that helps Cheers Jo
