My naturepath wanted me to use that ultrainflamX, but it has WAY TOO MUCH sugar and carbs in general for me (I have diabetes).

As for the other product: I know Glutamine and Aloe Vera are both supposed to be good for the gut. And licorice is supposed to be good for the stomach (and I see it contains the right kind). I'm not as familiar with the other ingredient.

I tried Aloe Vera, but it had a preservative in it that was so nasty tasting and smelling, I just couldn't do it.

Personally I decided not to do the ultraflamX due to the high carbs and sugar and some of those vitamins I can't do large amounts of (some of the B vitamins really hurt my stomach).

I suppose if I were to choose one, it would be the GlutAloeMine.

Hi Lulu - the GlutAloeMine sounds a reasonable proposition. Has god ingredients and no no-nos !

The UltraInflamX, apart from all the sugars, 9g contains fructose (a *total no-no for the gut) and also contains rice bran and rice syrup solids - aint gonna help the gut. As for the other ingredients, Vit-D at 45IU (10%) is a joke. And the same applies to most of the rest of the ingredients. Better by far to have a few of the mainline ingredients from a reliable source and eat a decent probiotic every day, like yogurt - Stonefields is excellent one for Nth America - than to waste money on this product. Just my opinion.

Even better probiotics: pill form.

I was eating stoneyfield yogurt every day and it was doing nothing for my GI inflammatory problems and when tested, I had no lactobacilli. But then again, I'm allergic to the cow's milk casein and that in itself contributes to the inflammatory response.

But once I started the probiotics, that did help. That and getting off the dairy.

Just not enough. Hoping the Humira is healing the gut now. My bowels are a lot better, though I still flare....like now....constipated again, just not as bad as before Humira.
