After 4-5 months on the NSD, I'm currently at war with Candida. Candida is a nasty little [*bleep*]. He attacks when you least expect him to and enjoys making your life a misery. Many 'safe' foods on the NSD feed my Candida and make him happy. It's easy to kill Candida but it's very hard to not feed him. So for me it's almost a constant cycle. I kill it off easily with natural anibiotics etc then eat something and before I know it, he strikes back.

Heres a short list of just some of the foods that have/are causing me trouble:

Pavalova
Raisons
Blueberries
Macadamias
Chocolate
Vinegar
Mayonaise
Coconut slice
Coconut cookies
Coconut fried chicken
Too much oil in my salad
Pork
Pineapple
Cheese
Tuna

Just to list a few..

IT IS A MISSION! My diet is very restrictive but hopefully if I can get it right it will only be a short term problem. I am not well but am really battling this hard in the hope that one day the hard work will pay off. I'm far too young for this. I'm only 17. I've been struck at an early age. But I'm not going to get anywhere by complaining. So I'm off to war. I don't think I'll ever give up.
