I know they checked him for Diabetes at least twice before, and the only test he had come back abnormal, very early on, was the A1C Hemoglobin, which is like, an indication of how STABLE your blood sugar has been over the last few weeks. That was the only test to come back weird, that first year, and I can't believe no one thought to give him a glucose monitor at that point . . . ? The other tests that have been "abnormal" are his thyroid, (slightly wonked, enlarged, and high I think) and his two kinds of vascular pneumonia. And his super-high blood pressure. so, for now . . . this is a FANTASTIC breakthrough, even if we haven't figured out his fluctuations yet. At least we're starting to!

We both got our first Hep C tests today . . . we didn't realize until too late that his mom had Hep C and we'd been taking care of her without gloves. And yes, with blood contact, like checking her blood sugar, and we're not sure, but there may have been a lancet mix-up, and Cody may have used her used needle on the glucose monitor. So yay. lol
