If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Okay, I've been away from the computer for the weekend, and came back to this.
9 years ago, a little 4 year old boy went missing, it was around 4:30 on a cool October afternoon, he was only dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt and had wandered off into the woods following his grandfather (his grandfather didn't know that he was following him). About 15 minutes later, the grandmother noticed the grandson missing and told the boy's father (who was working on his truck in the garage). A frantic search of the house, yard and pool, came up empty. A 911 call was made and police, K-9, sheriff, fire, and air support were called in. As the night set in and the weather was getting colder, the panic was setting in more and more. Thankfully, this story had a happy ending, one of the neighbors, out on horseback, found the little boy, and he was returned safely to his parents.
That little boy, was my son, Travis. As a parent that has experienced a missing child, I like to commend Holly for posting this here. Yes, we're an AS support site, key word in this part being support. At the time, I would have welcomed support from wherever it came, even if it were only my friends from my internet sites. That was one of only two times in my life where I was so scared and so upset that I couldn't even talk. I don't know how I even got the words out to the 911 operator.

I was going stay out of this thread after my second post, but since several people seem to have misunderstood my posts, I want to clarify something. The reason I felt the post about the missing girl should be in the off-topic forum – if on KA at all - is not because it doesn’t have anything to do with Ankylosing Spondylitis– it’s because it doesn’t have anything to do with KickAS. The missing girl is neither related to nor befriended or aquaintanced with anyone of the members of KA, so let’s please not compare her with the children, relatives, friends or aquaintances of any KA members! Quote:
The missing Natalee Holloway has no association whatsoever to KA or its members, so I fail to see why it should be posted on KA, let alone the main board. Besides, since the story is being broadcasted on CNN as well as in other major newsmedia, posting it to KA seems quite redundant.
No need to respond to my post - I won’t waste any more time or energy on KA.

All,
Just to let you all know, I gave the family a link to the thread. I hope that we can discuss the merits of future similar posts in another thread or via PMs. Maybe we can all move our comments to another thread? Or edit them for the family's sake?
Thanks!
Holly

Holly, thank you. I certainly didn't want to cause trouble. Just to understand Nina's concerns. I will delete my post of course.
Hugs,
Kat

Kat,
No troubles, just would like the discussion (both sides) to taken elsewhere so IF the family does check the post, they don't see the negativity. See what I mean?
Lots of love, Holly

FYI-Because of its literal definition ("fear of the marketplace"), agoraphobia is often misunderstood as a fear of crowds or a fear of open spaces. The clinical definition of agoraphobia is a fear of situations or places "from which escape might be difficult (or embarrassing) or in which help may not be available in the event" of a panic attack.

All, Here is a copy of the email that I received from Natalee's Aunt Megan Twilly. I have changed the phone number in my original post. It is apparent that the family did check out the information on our site. Quote:
Please change the contact info on your website the FBI hotline. 1-877-NATALEE. Please take off the 205 # for it is invalid.
THanks for your help. We need people to be calling this hotline with any information that could lead us to find her.
Hurry home, Natalee!! Hurry home! Holly
