Mary, you and Jim are both in my prayers. You are a wonderful wife to get him care so quickly, and to notify his friends here. May God grant wisdom to Jim's doctors, quick recovery to Jim, and comfort to his lovely wife

Hi Mary, I'm very sorry to hear this  ,... thank you for posting to let us all know the scary time Jim is going through. Thank goodness you recognised the signs and he was attended to quickly. My Aunt went through a similar sounding stroke and thankfully was able to make a complete recovery, so I'll be wishing that Jim will overcome this too, and that he'll receive the very best care possible. Please know my thoughts are with you both. mig
