Chris,
Thanks for the info. My doctor is very young. And knows lss than I do aobut AS and fibro. I think I need a "specialist" that knows something aobut our illness.
Chris, ya should have seen the big bucks near the Denver airport! Man oh man. From a distance they were all bigger than my buck!

Sorry aobut the twisting!
I have had injections in both shoulders, but not in my back for years. but all this info helps me decide, that I shold see a surgeon who can go to the source. I do not have good insurance.

Hi, my pain is on the outside of the back as well as deep.
The only time it hurts less is when I am medicated. So I understand what you say, some times it doe snot take much!

Lon, just read your post. I went through the same proceedure with the same symptoms as you many years ago. I went through 3 rounds of injections and at first thought there was some help, but to my dismay I had no luck with this process. When I was having problems in my lower spine I found that the only thing that worked for me for the lower back pain and sciaitca was traditional Chinese accupuncture. Also use Moxibustion if you go this route which helped also. Believe me, I tried everything. My situation is now mainly in my upper spine and neck, etc. PM. <><
