yes, cobra is on the expensive side, but if its short term in between 2 jobs, it can be a life saver and save tons of money in the long run......staying insured and having good coverage to pay for all the doctors, meds, etc down the road....short term negative for long term positive.

I have a good friend with RA, who always uses cobra. It's expensive, but she's had RA (along with other things with her genetic disorder) and has always known she can never go without insurance. Saving for those few months is just a routine for her, and overall helps a lot. I've gotten some good responses. I feel a little better about this now. Thanks!
