Meggy.... I'm hoping your Dr House gets to the bottom of this, you so need a break! Pleased that your uni has come through, but am upset for you that they put you through the wringer over it all as the stress of that can't have helped. And while the reason for your new hair do ain't a happy one, for what it's worth it is sexy! Thinking of you.

sounds like your Dr. House is like the TV one, he may be good at doing all the theoretical stuff, but not so good at the follow-ups!

Ya, we should leaf all the tree and owl analogies alone, for sure. 
Dr. House hasn't had a chance to do much follow-up. I might have a private GP, but I'm still in the public system for everything else. The soonest I can get in for ultrasound/xray anywhere within a 100km radius is mid october. My bloodwork doesn't get done until monday, and those are alot of dna tests that get sent to the US for analysis, so it might be a long time before we hear back. The simple stuff like CRP, CBC, etc come back quickly, but are always normal anyways.
