If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi Lisa
Sorry you have trouble with your jaw too. I just hate going out to eat and have trouble eating. I feel real self conscience about it espcially since, at times, my hands hurt and I have trouble holding a spoon or fork. The shots sound painful. IF my TMJ gets real bad, I will eat soft food for a day or two. I remeber the shot in the back of the neck...THAT was painful...my neck was sore and I had a headache for a couple of days. Wondered if it was worth it.

Hi Lisa, I miss you too!..I just got a new webcam and some of us have been chatting on Skype...and I love it!! You should join us, it's a lot of fun. I'm so sorry about your Mom and you make a great point about the prednisone, my Mom was on it for 25 years and she had some bone issues, so yes, it's probably time for you to start charting your bone mass so that you don't get blind-sided with a major issue later...it's one thing to talk about the potential side-effects of medications when prescribed for short-term use but an entirely different set of issues with medications that we must take for long-term use, as "maintenance meds" and the potential consequences become much more serious...I worry about you because I know how you are, you put everyone else's needs above your own and push your needs to the side but this is not something to play around with...okay, enough scolding, big, big hugs & much love...MUAH!!!

Hi Lisa Sorry about your sinus infection. I was on Bactrim at one point, never had any trouble. How is the new pool effecting your Crohn's??? I hope it has nothing to do with anal leakage.LOL. It would be interesting to know why the pool is a factor. Did he say to stay out of the pool? I just reread some fibro info I had and it stated that migrains can be caused by fibro,, that could explain my headache that never seems to go away completely. I hope you get your Remicade infusion, I remember how sick you were before you startrd Remicade. The sooner the better. WHAT?? your pregnant?? Congratulations

Hi Michelle
No I am not on Fosomax, but thanks for asking. I take Skalaxen for my neck and shoulders. I wonder if that would help at the dentist's office. Skalaxen is a seditive and might work to relax my jaw.
I read about your bone density test. I hope the doctor has a plan for you. I know prednisone, taken for a long time can effect bone density. Are you on prednisone?

The Skalaxan may do the trick for you, I had pretty good results on Skalaxen, now I'm on Flexaril...but definitely not on Prednisone, I have an aversion to it...I hope this problem gets resolved for you soon...xxooxx

you might want to try the skalaxen a little before going to the dentist, i do my zanaflex 30 minutes prior and by the time they get started, i'm almost 1/2 a sleep while they are working. i take it for all kinds of procedures: ultrasounds (when they press the probe up against my ribs i just want to smack somebody if i don't take a muscle relaxant first), MRIs, etc. have to time it just right as i can't drive for about an hour, 1-2 hours after i take it. my impression is that skalaxen and zanaflex are pretty similar from what i've read. normally i just take it at bedtime and then as needed. what, lisa's expecting! LOL, that's how rumors get started! Lisa, sorry you're feeling so yucky, hope you feel a bit better soon

Pregnany at 47 you say??? ok, I guess it could be worse..lol If your infection doesn't feel better in 2-3 days on bactrim, you should let doc know so you can start something different/stronger. If your head blows up sooner than 2 days, it would be an indication, too. If I hear a big boom tonight, I'll wonder if it was Angelmom's head blowing up. And you should get a DXA scan soon. It's not too early for a screening test due to all your Pred. Chuckling at the edits....lol.
