If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I need some help with new recipes. Can you post a few of the recipes you like to eat?
I am trying to get back onto the NSD but a LSD menu could work too. I am just so tired of the things I have been eating I need some new ideas.

Sara This one is no starch but contains lactose. To lower the lactose I use lactose free milk or yogurt. I often add nuts seeds or coconut. I am not eating this right now because I am hoping to loose a bit more weight but when I am at my ideal size I am going to give this another try http://articles.mercola.com/sites/videos/home.aspxLove Joanne

Hi Sara Last night I made lazagne for the family but I made a starch free one for myself at the same time. I made individual ones actually; 3 little ramekins for my 3 little girls and two adult size portions. I layered up meatsauce (I used fresh tomatos not tinned and red wine and stock - I reduced the water content by simmering without a lid on the pan when the sauce was cooked through). If you don't have a good meatsauce recipe, I will give you mine. Next I put fresh pasta for the others and a layer of fresh spinach leaves for me. Next layer was cheese sauce, but for mine I made a sauce from Carol Sinclairs book using cream and ground almonds. Let me know if you would like me to type this out for you! Then just repeat the layers finishing with cheese sauce and freshly grated parmasan cheese! It was delicious, really satisfying!! And if you make a large batch it is totally freezable! So your hard work will not have to be repeated too often!! Will try to think of some other things for you. Do you have any favourite ingredients? Meat or Vegetables? My real passion is baking over everything, though - I just love making cakes! Bon Appetit! Tink
KickAS and help others do the same!

Sara My friend has sent me this recipe for chocolate cake. I have not tried it yet. I think I might have to modify it, but she is right it does seem to be low starch. Not sure how much. Somebody here may know what we could use instead of the baking powder http://products.mercola.com/coconut-flour/Love Joanne

I have a recipe book that is loaded with desserts.. Its the cooking with coconut flour by Bruce Fife. I am more interested in meals. I will have to try that chocolate cake recipe though. It looks yummy.
What I normally do is a piece of meat, like chicken or pork chops, a starchy side like rice or potatoes and a veggie. All seperate that way I dont have to pick out or serve myself the starches. My husband complains that he is bored of the seasoned piece of meat and whats something different. So just looking for some ideas to keep him from getting bored and then craving the oreos at 9pm. =)

A favorite of mine, and really easy.
4 cloves garlic, chopped 1/2 pound ground beef 1/2 small head cabbage, shredded 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips fish sauce to taste ground black pepper to taste
Directions: Saute garlic in oil for about 5 seconds, then add ground beef. Stir-fry until beef is evenly brown. Stir in cabbage and pepper, and cook until vegetables are tender, and beef is fully cooked. Stir in fish sauce sauce. Season with pepper.

Steak onions red bell peppers mushrooms balsamic vinegar nappa cabbage salsa
Cook meet and vegetables till done, then pour in a small amount of vinegar till covers the veggies but is not immersed. Stir on high heat till burned off and serve on nappa cabbage leaf with salsa and possible a little colby/monterry jack cheese if your feeling risky.

i'm LSD, not NSD, and more for my blood sugar and cholesterol, but here are a few things i made this week that turned out well:
scallops sauteed with olive oil, garlic, cooking sherry, finished with a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
drunken fish: cut the top off a bulb of garlic, poured and rubbed with about a tablespoon of olive oil and roasted rapped in foil at 350 degrees for an hour. cooled and peeled and chopped. then poached tilapia in 1/2 white wine, 1/2 water with the chopped roasted garlic in it.
