Mig - When I filled it in I put that I don't take NSAIDs... As a man came back Positive. Changed gender, and as a female came back Negative.

The test is a skewered traversty. Wrote an told em so as well. So, write in. Tell em. Need to get this 'validated' (!!ah-hem) test' changed. Too many medics and rheumies will be setting store by this errant nonsense. That test is a total disgrace to the medical profession. Don't know where they dug that guy up from who put it together, but I'd like to see him confronted by a decent group of international rheumies...he would be confounded. He needs educating that's for sure.

As though ASers don't have enough to contend with without this clonking nonsensical rubbish on an AS association site.

OK guys, get writing. That so called 'validated' test needs to be *removed from the SAA Association site. It is a traversty.

Yay, I flunked too. I am so glad I don't have AS that I think I'll go do some cartwheels. Er uh, maybe not as that would HURT!!!!

With the future of others (seeking diagnosis) in mind, I do agree this needs to be addressed. What about a petition-style letter that someone here writes and those of us who'd like to sign sign?

I know Alan - stands to reason, females *can't get AS, not natural for em to...NOT in Nth America that is!! <LOL> But TG we live in Europe and don't 'seem' to have quite the same probs as our cousins in Nth America have in getting a DX. That's why it is crucial for SAA to be firmly put in place over this traversty of medical 'information'. No two ways about it, SAA needs a rocket under em.

Yep. We need this letter written, and that crap 'test' needs to be removed. Put up the EULAR indices and copy in the NASS interviews.

Another thing that bugs me about this test is that it references neck, hip and "other" but not si joints. That's where it all started for me, and many others, no?
