If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Tink, As I sit her and type, I have less pain shooting down my legs, which is very nice. I don't know if it will be enough to put off the surgery... Most people drive thorugh Wyoming. but it is kind of growing on us. I wish we had closer mountains and a clear stream, but we are in a dry county..... but in 70 minutes I can be in a fun mountian Lake! thanks Tink.

Lon, I am still using the wheelchair although I am aloud to put a bit of weight on my foot now. Yesterday I over did it and my foot is really sore and stiff today. If I leave the house I must use the wheelchair cause I cant walk far or for long. My foot is healing well though and the doc says I have strong bones. Kids are very well. Happy in my house. No yelling and name calling. It is so nice to have all 4 of them here together . I put up the Christmas tree the other night. I am sure I haven't put one up for a few years. Marcel put up lights on the house and things are really good. Marcel is very good to me even though I give him a 'run for his money' most days. The last three and a half weeks have been a little frustrating at times not being able to do things for myself and I take it out on him a bit. But really....this surgery and recovery has not been too bad at all. Love being at home everyday...not even sick of it yet. I was supposed to go back to work on the 16th but not sure that is going to happen. I got a card in the mail on Monday signed from all my employees at the Casino and it brought tears to my eyes....they say they love me and miss me. Now I have to just wait until my foot heals completely before I get the other foot done. Take care of yourself Lon and remember we all love you and miss you when your not around. I do hope you get some pain relief from your injections. Give Lin a hug and hugs to you as well Lon.
Sherri XOXO

Sherri, My dear sister, I must be nuts: but i can just see you "over doing it" with your foot!! Was the rest of your body not involved? Sorry, we know I am a rather dull knife, but thought you were using your foot for something your body could not do??? How fast will your "chair" go? do the kids push you? I am glad that Marcel is treating you right,it sounds cool about the tree! I want to see it when you give him a run for His money! I may pay to see that! Yea, it was nice of your friends at work to send you a card! They must love ya like we do. I have less leg pain today. I think I will work on the snow blade if the sun is out. I can work in my shirt sleeves if the sun is shinning in the garage. We have a daughter that will be moving to Philly next month. So now I know I will be within drivng time of at least a short visit one of these days!
Thanks for the update. I think I will start the Harley today? Do you want a ride?

Lon...I sure do want to ride......but I am sure there is too much ice and snow right??? We can't afford an accident.... Marcel pretty much picks me up and puts me on his bike...hard to get the leg up and over. My wheelchair is great, goes real fast and sometimes Marcel does wheelies and I get mad...lol. Kids have been absolutely great through all of this. So helpful. Glad to hear your daughter is moving closer. Hopefully she can drive to see you too.
Love, Sherri

Oh, yea, the surgeon had the audacity to say that I might want to lose some weight…… what does he know???? I hate it when the doctor says that! But let's face it, less weight to carry around is easier on the joints. But still, nobody likes to hear that! So... did you continue to speak with the charlie horse? I'm just wondering how you worked the double charlie horse scream into your talk. And when John baptized Jesus, a voice cam from the sky and said "OOUUUUIIIEEEY! With this man I am most PLEEEEEEAAASed!" I just got the most hilarious video from my son who's teaching James this week at an international workshop. Those younsters are really whooping it up nowadays. Hey, I'll PM it to you. Never mind, I can't find it anyway. But if you're interested, here's the link to the promo video for the place. Here it is.

Still have spots of snow but gone for the most part. I think we reached 50F today. I am trying to grow tomatoes in the garage under lights. There were a couple of plants that came up from some of the Yellow pear tomatoes. So I decided to see if you could have tomatoes in Feb. I am about 80% recovered. Still have to go back in for CAT scans in Feb. Have a great day

Beloved, It has been a real strain on my pedigree. I can lift the kids at church when they run up to me for a hug, but if I drop a dollar bill at the check out counter after shopping for 15 minutes, I can just barely reach down to get it. Lon, it's just not worth straining your pedigree for $1. I always remember the back surgeon's advice...if you drop the soap in the shower, leave it there--too many back surgeries have resulted from people attempting to pick up the soap. When we were kids, we always picked up pennies but as we age and get AS the stakes go higher. Now I wouldn't bend over to pick up anything lower than $20 bill, $10 bill OK well maybe for $5 bill I would think about it. Hey, I drove through Bill, WY once but blinked and it was gone...was this a dream??

Sherri, too much snow and ice. I do ride the 4-wheeler some. I think we have to hope and plan on the best things coming our way. I loved the two longer rides last summer. I am not palnning on any tatoos, but I do have black leather and boots... kind of funny eh?
I keep the New Covenant, when I fail....I am pulled back into place by HIM.
