If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Wrapping up my visit here. Now three weeks without taking enbre and am starting to flare more at night but feel great during the day. The doctor says radon does not have any flaring period before it starts working. Which is about 4 weeks post radon. Met a Russian chap here and we have gone to Prague and karlovey vary on a day trips. Great places to visit. Today we are going to a jachymov restaurant way up on the hill. He says it's outstanding. This Russian guy was diagnosed last ear with acute AS which came on suddenly after having a tooth pulled. He does have the genetic marker. He is just on NSAIDs. Although he is quite well off enbrel would cost him 3000 a month in Russia. Not sure if citizens there even have insurance. All said this trip has been way above my expectations. This is a first class place and for the money you cannot bear the value.

Thanks so much for your posts Finnari. I've been following your near daily reviews with interest. I did a fair amount of research on the Radon Palace early in my search for answers and to have your input and firsthand experience retained here is invaluable. Thanks so much for taking the time and please continue to post your progress physically over the next few months.
(Luigi and I used to communicate in our pre radon days - If I remember correctly he headed to Eastern Europe about the same time I headed to the mines in Montana. I think we are both healthier and happier for it!)
Continued success to you,

Thanks h2o girl. If it wasn't for luigis posts I would not have come here. Then RC pilot made the final confirmation for me. I too have read your posts about Montana and while you have had impressive results too many people have not been helped much. Everyone I have talked to here raves about this as a treatment.
Today my Russian buddy and I went to the palladium restaurant on top of jachymov about a 15 minute walk up a fairly steep hill. It was a restaurant/house/lodging and has a breathtaking view of the valley. Amazing. It's a very unique restaurant with a lot of fixtures such as old horse wagons and pictures of old jachymov. Dinner was amazing, thee waiter spoke a bit of English and more Russian. We hung out and played pool for an hour. The whole time we were the only ones in the place. After the owner told us you can stay at the lodge for 40 euros per night even in the summer. Should have asked him if it included food! But radium palace is still best option since you get your meals and all treatment are right there. The only other place that might be okay in summer is Astoria. It is nice looking and only a few hundred feet away. Hotel curie, about a 5 minute walk looks a lot less appealing from the outside anyway. The lady at the restaurant told us she worked around the jachymov spas for 20 years and tod my friend in Russian that she has seen the results of radon firsthand on people and that if done every year it's basically a cure for AS. Take that for what you want.

Just catching up on this thread... Finnari, you sexy man, you! Sounds like a great trip! Oh you will remember that experience for the rest of your life. haha I keep having visions of Borat there, in the buff, having "sexy time" there (in his accent, of course)! I can just imagine you and Borat hanging out. At the Boulder Hot Springs hotel (was there for the mines - I think you were too at one time), they have hot and cold plunge pools, and I think it was bathing suit optional too (they had a men's side and a women's side). All the north americans were shocked. lol Too funny. Sexy man.... Too cute.

All the north americans were shocked. lol Too funny. Sexy man.... Too cute. Yea borat happens to be one of my all time Favourites too! Finished up with the doctor today. Dr. Novack (he kinda looks and talks like borat come to think of it). He trained for a while in south Carolina so his English is quite good. I asked him about the cancer risk of radon. He says "quite the contrary". Studies have indicated low dose radon actually reduce the risk of cancer. Ummm, of course he has a vested interest. But he says in about two weeks I should start feeling better. And then should be good for 4-6 months. Whoa? I said I never heard 4 months. I have heard 6 mostly but mabe up to 10 months. He says it's all individual. All are possible. Doctors in USA anyway tend to give conservative outlooks. All in all I brought everything on this trip I needed. Most days I'm in the big wifi lounge in my surf shorts and t shirt. Vastly different from all the well dressed Germans. A ccuple of them have come up to me during the trip and playfully pointed out with laughs, gestures and some English that I'm always in the same chair with my iPad. My iPad has been the best thing possible. I've downloaded so many books and movies it's been great. The other thing I never mentioned is they have a concert hall in the lounge and mabe twice a week they have opera singers and pianists come play. Not my cup of tea but well attended.

Course I'm jealous of all the attention that Ari is getting from all the KA girls here, haven't gotten any "Sexy Man" comments in ANY language lately.... but hey I DO have an iPad!!! I'm holding it up and waving it around, look everybody!! oh, so sad perhaps time to follow his lead with my own low-budget spa, roll around in my bathing suit in the freezing snow in our back yard for a bit, then quickly jump in the hot tub, with some of this poured in the 105 degree water maybe that will help

Dow, I tried that low budget-back-yard-roll in thew snow thing. Lin happened ot be lookiing out the window and told me to ""stop it right now!!; that I was going to hurt myself. soemthing aobut jamming myself into my old swimming suit and falling in the snow and not being able to get up....
and my hot tube went belly up - no more heat...
I keep the New Covenant, when I fail....I am pulled back into place by HIM.

Hey Finnari-
Congratulations on completing your 3 weeks in Jachymov! I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the story... hopefully within the next 2 months. Like my partner in crime, H2O girl, said, we are better now for it. I've been to Jachymov 3 times, and have never been as bad off inflammation-wise as I was before I first went in 2007.
Wishing you all the best and a year free of pain and stiffness!
Luigi
