Hey Everyone

Found out that It just wasn't My AS acting up, but a cool virus that is going around that gives you terrible body aches a constant headache, sensitivity to light and throbbing eyes. Spent the weekend in bed, was up a total of eight hours, watching tv made my head hurt too. So it's not always AS that causes pain but that is what everyone assumed when I was laying in bed, pretty much dead to the world. Doctor said it just needs to run it's course and give him a call if I run a fever. I think we all handle pain much better than most since alot of us deal with it on a daily basis...just my theory.

You guys are all in my thoughts and you give me the strength to carry on...thanks for listening smile

Hi Jeff,

Im sorry your feeling bad...supposedly there is a horrendous stomach bug going around here and Im praying that I dont get it seeing how I am still struggling to get over this pneumonia going on week 8 I think with the 4th antibiotic..I HATE stomach flu!

We are pretty lucky here at Kick aren't we, someone is always thinking of us and we them, that helps me get thru the day alot of days. It means alot that I have a funny relationship with others here because laughing can be some of the best medicine.

Feel better soon,

Lisa

I'm still relatively a newby dealing with this (2 years dx-ed) and STILL when I get a virus or "other" illness I tend to turn to a pot of "why me" in a hurry. It just seems like more than I can bear.

**Lisa, I've got pneumonia coming on fast. I'm so mad. supposed to be girlfriend's weekend in the city. Grrrrr. I'm testing out super mega doses of Vit C to fight it off and sleeping tons. If it doesn't work I'll hop on over to the Doctor. I still have both inhalers from last time. HATING the word PNEUMONIA right now! This one came on like a bombshell. not even a cold first. just laryngitis and pneumonia.....BAM. Weird.

Jeff, I'm glad they figured out what's been going on. Hopefully, now you'll start to feel a bit better. Good grief. It's so confusing, sometimes, to figure out what's going on with us.

Feel better soon!

Warm hugs,

Kat

huggs! hugss

feel better soon! heart

as you said, we're so used to dealing with pain, you'll have this thing beat in no time! just hope you can sleep as much as possible, that's what helps me fight colds / the flu better than anything else: sleep and lots of fluids.

At least the flu only last for a short time. I know we all seem to chalk up every ache to our AS or whatever our DX is.

Take it easy, get lots of rest and drink lots of fluids. It seems that there have been a lot of bugs going around.

Feel better.

Hi Lisa

Feeling a little better today but the headache is lingering. It is nice to be able to come to KA anytime and be amoung friends from all over the world. I love coming here and having a good laugh...helps to take your mind off the other stuff going on. Drove 265 miles today so a slight headache was the least of my concerns laugh

Donette

Hope you feel good enough for girlfriends weekend, nothing like feeling sick when you are supposed to be having a good time. Whenever I have something special planned, sickness is always in the back of my mind. not in a negative way just being realistic. Keep your fingers crossed. yes

Hi Lon

Yes it is great to be able to come here and vent instead of keeping it all bottled up inside. Life is funny....good to have friends here.

Thanks
