If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Last Thursday night I slept with electrodes attached to my body. And got sent home with a CPAP. Apparently I had a few apnea episodes, some shallow breathing and some other stuff.
So I've had my new bedtime buddy for 3 nights now. I feel more alert mentally, but I still feel very tired and in pain.
I'll follow up with the sleep doc next month.

I've had my cpap-BI machine for about a month and a half now and I am starting to feel better. Been through a couple of different masks so far and am now using the nasal mask with the jell type surface. I am running at 13 lbs pressure. Dan

Hopefully it will work and help make you feel better, I know alot of people think the mask is a bother and dont like it BUT when you think about what you are really doing...not breathing for a few seconds it really could be dangerous.
Bill (my husband) has had one for like 10 years now with like 3 different models and the more time goes by the better they get so if you not feeling it talk to the people at the company and maybe try a different mask ect..but I would give it a month or so...Bills main complaint is like a dry throat.
Glad you got it done.
Hugs

My unit is on some sort of auto variable and the info stored on an SD disk. When I go for my appt next month, they'll set it for me. I'm starting to think the gel thing might be good to try.

Lisa, I have to use it according to instructions or my insurance won't pay for it. And now there's a SD card recording my usage in it, so I have to. I would anyway. I really am doing all I can to get as healthy as I can.

Micki, I've had my CPAP since 2004. It looks like my severe sleep apnea was caused by uncontrolled Celiac Disease. I still use my CPAP at a pressure of 11. All reading are will within normal range. Before starting CPAP and Celiac disease, I would stop breating 41 times per hour. Now I may have 1 or 2 Hyperapnea per hour, with many days of no apneas.

Hey Micki, my sweetie's been using his CPAP since late 2005. It turned his sleep right around once they got the pressure modulated properly and found a mask he could bear (sounds like he and Dan are using the same type). I hope it helps you in the same way.
Warm hugs,
Kat
