If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

yeah thanks everyone - agree with all of it really. I guess the reason I ask is that I am concerned about taking humira as I worry that perhaps other autoimmune illnesses might flare up like MS seems to sometimes for AS patients on anti tnf meds.
Any thoughts?

while it can happen, i think about the probably of it not happening as well. a lot more people don't get MS compared to those who do. unless you believe you'd be in a higher risk group for it......... there is a good chance i will be trying it soon.........

Yes, I was taking Remicade infusions, which helped my sacroiliitis and IBD immensely but it awakened Lupus in the worst way. I started having problems with my kidneys and passing protein in my urine. I had to stop the Remicade and start taking Cellcept.
Because I failed Remicade, my docs feel it's risky to try me on any of the other anti-TNFs. That's too bad because it helped my back pain a lot.

Just weigh the pros and cons with your dr's input. I took just about every med there is and I didn't have problems with a new disease process. I would go for it myself. I did. I just didn't tolerate the meds. It is just a very personal decision.
