Beloved,
It is with a grateful heart that I wish you all a fine holiday. With so many things to be thankful for, I would choose to express my appreciation to you for the friendship and love I receive from you. If I don't know you yet, I look forward to knowing you soon.

I was in the yard yesterday and I heard a thud. It was a doe with her twins and I was too close to where they wanted to use the toilet in my yard. They were such graceful things, kind of reminded me of myself in years gone by. I named those twins: Pete and Repeat! They run like puppies and often jump fences just to play.

The old doe who has had a broken foot for two years brought her kids by the next day. She named her kids stevec and Loz. New names to me, but you may have heard them before.

Last night I was cleaning the oil from my garage floor and I heard a howl and soon some sniffing at the door so I went around the other way and sure enough there he was; the old coyote that has been hanging around off and on for years. I think his name is old George.

I still have not got the pain under control, and the nightmares have come back. I have rebuked it and will face life with all that it has to offer. My son nearly cried when he saw how much I was drinking just to get the pain down during our steak dinner last night. He is an alcoholic and I felt so bad when he saw what I was doing. I am kind of breaking my promise, Pete. My pedigree seems to be getting a real strain lately.

A boba boba loopy lu. Yabba Dabba doobie do!

As I look and listen to the joys of this life, and think of you- I want to tell you that I love this place!

I would like to send my good wishes to all my friends across the 'pond', for a special 'pain free / strain free' holiday. You must live in what I would consider a dream type home , where you get deer and other animals just wandering by and not bothering with the fact they see your backyard, as you call it, as a toilet.Do all your freinds treat you like this. All I get are the neighbors cats and dogs wandering about and digging up the plants Pam has tended with loving care, and leaving their little 'packages' . I don't think I can let you know the names we call them by though, as this is a family site.
I hope the pain thing is brought to heel soon, I have had some bad weeks recently too, and I know that your pain is worse than mine, so I want to let you know that I sympathise with you. I know you and most of us do not want or need sympathy, but you know what I am trying to say, my words do not come as freely as yours. It's hard to try and act and be normal when your in pain. Your son obvioulsy realises this as much as you do. But we all have our different ways of dealing with problems.

As I a read your tales of strife, It makes me realise we have a life.

Stay Well
Paul

I suppose you can recognize the old doe's kids Loz and Stevec quite easily 'cause they're probably the only young deer in the area toting golf clubs. Of course you probably don't get to see much of young Loz seeing as his ball is always in the woods.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Lon. Sure hope some of them aches ease up a bit for you.

sassy,
When I have a grandchild in each arm I hope to try and get simultaneous burps. At this point I will offer to take the babies while the girls go to town. Yep, I love it. My best to you! Happy T Day.

toting golf clubs? I wondered what they had around thier neck? It does kind a hamper thier fence jumping and the sprints to the neighbors bird feeder! While I hold the two babies, I will think of you and how much joy you have in your family. I continue to pray for your wife and her health!

Hello my friend,

I love the idea of your back yard becoming a sanctuary for these does and their little ones, even with the names they have been given. I'm sure that all the hunters will stay out of your yard out of respect to the man who owns it. I'm also sure that if a mountain lion strays into your yard, a certain mountain Lon will make short work of him.

I'm honoured, nobody has name a coyote after me before but if he is old and scrawny but still smiling, why not call him OldGeorge.

Sorry to hear that the pain is still with you. Please look after yourself as best you can, you are the only Lon we have.

You love this place.
We all love you Lon.

George
