If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

My health insurance is going to be interupted in a few months. Since I get my drugs every three months I've decided to start backing off now so I don't have to go cold turkey.
I have taken vioxx for 2 years and am wondering if anyone else has quit taking it. Are there any possible side effects (besides being in more pain).

I had to give up vioxx a year ago because of liver function problem. The NDS worked well. I did get a perscription called Lodine that I take when flares come along. Saw it mention on the site. Seems to work ok for me to stop bad flares. The cost was way less than my co-pay for vioxx.

I use hardly use Vioxx anymore. Messes my stomach up, and doesnt quite cut it while in a bad flare. I can get by without medication alot of time, if I watch what I eat and stay active. More recently, when needed I've been trying Lodine. Works a treat with stiffness, and helps with the pain also. However, gives me a stomach ache, and makes me a bit nauseus

Lodine. Hmmmm. I've been on the lookout for something I can take during a bad flare and discontinue when the flare is over. Is this something I can do that with?

Yep. Its worth a try. My Gp said I can take Lodine as and when needed.
While on Vioxx, I was told most patients take it everyday, but even then, he said I could take it when I needed......maybe 'cos I have a 'delicate' stomach as far as that type of medication goes....?
Personally, I dislike to be dependant on pills.
Hope it helps if you do give it a go!
