I'm curious where or how you heard he is opposed to the diet. I read his book on AS, written in 2002. It says that Ebringer's work on the diet has not been corroborated and he doesn't recommend the diet.

I'd still like to see Khan and just keep my mouth closed about the NSD, at least at first.
