well i never thought that it could effect the jaw.I realise that i have stiff jaw and its horrible when i go to a dentist. The jaw starts to pain and the dentist do complain. Now after reading all this, i realise than my mouth does not open so much too. Looking back i did have some problem with my ear, a bony growth in the right ear, had to get it operated 3 times (1999-2004), before the growth stopped. The last operation was in 2004. The biopsy of the bony segment did not give any result and the report said "osteoma". Have also lost 30% hearing in the ear? It was all before i was diagnosed having AS (2007). Is AS the reason? Does any one else have any such symptoms?
