Hi all.
Have been suffering with tinnitus in my left ear for the better part of .. oh .. at least 4 months now. It can fluctuate in intensity, but I can't remember any significant amount of time without it.
Trying to keep common things common, I was trying to rule out simple things - GP says no wax in my ear, I'm actually not on any nonsteroid antiinflammatories, so I looked at the side effects of my other drugs.
I'm on sulfasalazine (4 g / day) because since my side effects for my biologics, I've gone "old school" with my meds - but my BNF tells me that tinnitus can be a side effect of SSZ.
Meeting gastro next Wed, and GP next Thurs. Any personal expereince of tinnitus and SSZ (and in particular, did it stop when you stopped the drug - please tell me yes...)
