Good luck!

have you had that done before?

first time they did it for me, it was rather topical, without fluoroscopy, just in the area of the ligaments (i'm thinking) where it was inflamed. Lasted an entire year, it was wonderful and miraculous.

The second time, about 7 years later, so i guess i was further progressed, it lasted for a bit less than 6 months and not quite so perfectly, but still an improvement. The second time was deep into the joint with fluoroscopy.

The first time, little pain, the second time a lot, but if i had taken the pain med option that they offered, it would have been much better. But I thought it was going to be just like the first and it wasn't.

so, if they do it deep with fluoroscopy and offer IV drugs for the procedure, I suggest to take them.

Then again, maybe it depends on the doctor, as my new interventionalist sounds like he has a better technique that won't hurt nearly as much.

anyway, Hope you have as much success as I did. It can really be a lifesaver.
