If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Johnny, I feel the same way. My life may not have been as bad as yours on the dad front, but there've been some really bad times (that I've not got into here yet). I could sob about them, carry them on my shoulders, wear them on my sleeve or use them as an excuse not to grow and become a better person. But the fact of the matter is that, like AS, our pasts mould us, give us challenges to overcome and, if we do it well, we come out the other side much better and stronger people. I admire that capability in people who evidence it. Hugs, Kat

Maybe we should start another thread on the use of M&M's for the occasional use of temporary AS relief! Although... if you were to take a look at the NSD forum... ginger covered in dark chocolate might be an alternative of choice!!!! Oh Maxine, I absolutely LOVE ginger! Those sound so yummy I very rarely eat icecream now but I discovered ginger icecream a few years back when I was living on the coast of Maine. I got addicted to that stuff but it's not easy to find. Have you ever tried it? YUMYUM! peace Kathy. Hi Kathy,
I do not particularily care for the taste of ginger, but I love how it helps my keep me out of pain with my AS. Of course, going for the real deal, ginger root.
Take care,
Tim

Hey Tim, I did know ginger was great for stomach upset but I didn't realize ginger was beneficial to managing AS pain. Hmm, that's very interesting to me as I cannot take anything for my pain. Of course I could go back on narcotics but I'd rather not, that's always a last resort for me. Thanks for the tip, something I love just might help! Ginger icecream here I come! peace Kathy "The most beautiful stones have been tossed by the wind and washed by the waters and polished to brilliance by life's strongest storms."

Jan's full on in your face style of banter only gives offence to those looking to take it. In giving a platform and audience this forum will bring out the pompous self regarding @$$ that is in many of us, but most learn to control it. If you must continue, then it has got to be the OED.

OK, now I'm speaking up. Bilko, you are out of line. Johnny has done absolutely nothing wrong in this thread. Jan came in here and took things way too seriously and literally. Fine, we all do that sometimes, but it continued even after Johnny shared his story of alcohol abuse in his father, which was callous and plain selfish of her. The lack of compassion or awareness of what Johnny had just done was unbelievable. I've been trying to give Jan the benefit of the doubt that maybe there's something going on with her that's causing her to lash out inappropriately. I could be completely off base with that, but the tone of her posts indicates that to me. However, that you have decided to continue what Jan started is just mean. I don't know what your agenda is in continuing with this, Bilko, but it is not appreciated. If you want to bicker over something, start your own thread. If any of us wants to play, we'll join you. Otherwise, please just drop this and let us continue enjoying a discussion that should be/was/and will again be light hearted and jovial. If anyone feels like trying to rescue something that's been tainted by attitude and lack of understanding. Thank you. Kat
