If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

No, I don't recall any of us having a run-in with a stinkbug! (I'm sure I'd remember it if I did!!) The skunks balance that out nicely though. We live in a heavily forested area and some summer days the whole road to and from work smells like skunk Rox If I'm ever reincarnated, I wanna come back as Lara. http://www.geocities.com/artisan1998.geo/index.html

Talk about bugs Rox, I had me a run in with a few different species of wasps/hornets creatures yesterday. I was banging a new stud into place in my shed when I felt something hitting my head when Donna yells out to take cover because of wasps. Turns out we had a paper nest bigger than my head under the eve, and I guess I was ticking them off! Well, thank goodness nobody got stung, and after a whole can of raid, I removed the nest to show off to the neighbourhood kids, with larvae and baby wasps trying to chew their way out! More raid and a heave ho into the bush. I happen to notice more wasps hanging around the shed, and upon further investigation, in total, there were 6 nests! 6! The other 5 were much smaller, but I had to go to the store to get more raid! It's a wonder nobody got stung! Sheesh! This is 2 years in a row that we've had wasps, but never in this quantity! Doug

Hi, I love how you put recent photo's in of your gorgeous daughter. We all get to see her growing up and wow she is getting big quickly. It's wonderful to see a father so proud of his little girl. If she is anything like my daughters are with their father then she would already have you wrapped around her tiny little finger !!! Sal
The most important questions you will ever answer are those that your children ask you.

Wow, I've never heard of so many nests side by side! We get quite a few here in PA but never in numbers like 6 at a time! I wonder if they were smacking your head to warn you or something! I'd definitely say it's a miracle nobody got stung! Rox If I'm ever reincarnated, I wanna come back as Lara. http://www.geocities.com/artisan1998.geo/index.html

Could it have been a cicada? They are massive. They don't usually come down out of the trees but when they do they are huge. They don't look like wasps however, so I could be wrong but they are massive flying bugs!!!! Simone

LOL...it wasn't loud enough to be a cicada. They only come out once every whatever-number-of-years too, and only in mass quantities also, I think. The last cicada season they were so loud I could hear them through earplugs. Only thing louder are the frogs. NOT the crickets, but the frogs! Just thinking of you Rox. There I was just walking through my house, when I looked down and saw a centipede slithering along just in front of me . I tried to pick it up with a tissue but it squirmed away and for a brief horrifying moment I thought it was going to get on me . Luckily, I was fast enough to let it fall back onto the floor, grab at it again, and flush it down the toilet. Sorry to all the bug lovers out there but I find most bugs creepy. -McMom
