Hi Lee,
I f you go under FAQ it explains it. It goes by the number of posts you make and then it changes your name.

Lee, This Link Will Explain Almost AllSome of us, myself included, have decided to remain at a set id even when the user count changes. Only an Admin can do that. Hi Lee, Just 2 more posts and you get to automatically drop the "New_" part of your title. Anyone may choose his or her own title, following the theme "_AS_Kicker". Just ask any of the administrators (whose usernames appear in red). For example, for a long time I was a "Wise_AS*_Kicker". I've reverted to my 'natural' position now (by which I mean correct according to my number of posts). Our highest ranking member in terms of number of posts is Cheryl with an admirable 6135 posts! The good and dear lady has just found love, which gives the second ranking poster time to catch up, trouble is, she's almost 2000 posts behind! (That's ladybuggie with an equally remarkable 4172 posts). On checking I find myself in 4th place (behind Sassy) some 2700+ posts behind Cheryl, yet with 3326 posts to my name.
