If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I have to agree with you bosun....I remember when I used to pot it. I don't know if it would take care of the pain especially with AS. I know that after using it for a long period I started getting terrible headache so I stopped smoking pot. I get Methodone for the pain but I get so hyper that I can't sleep at night with Methodone. So i guess I have to find something that will take the pain away with terrible side effects. I'm a little pain on the "AS"..

Dan, I've always found that while pot doesn't make my pain go away, it does relax my muscles enough to get a good night's sleep, while not making me stoned out of my mind until 1pm the next day (which is what happened with the muscle relaxants my dr. prescribed). Hugs, Kat

I just recently received my information package/application form from the Canadian government, and it's a doosie to fill out, I figure it'll take me months to get done and then months for acceptance, although I know I already qualify and my GP is supportive. I only use mari. right before bed, I can have a small amount that will last me a month and a half at a cost of approximately $40 CDN. Find a good nights sleep that cheap anywhere. I sleep almost immediately and find I awaken in the position I placed myself in originally, well rested and refreshed most of the time. I can not fuction on it, I don't leave my house, I don't drive (definately not) in fact the joke among my friends and family is I don't answer the phone after 10 because of it, ( which I really won't!!) I just sleep, wonderful restful sleep. When I wake up I'm a responsible wife and mother of three, I'm employed as a professional in a local hospital and can work effectively due to a good nights sleep...this is my experience with it. Good luck!! J

Hey Janis, I use it much the same way. I don't wake up in the same position, but I don't toss and turn as much either. I use a pipe, rather than rolling, and find that I really don't need all that much when I do that. I'm thinking about getting one of those electric pipes that gets rid of the smoke, but not the effects. It's a pretty big investment tho, and if I hate it, I doubt I'll be able to return it. But I'm looking into it anyway. Saw one in a head shop here in Toronto. Pretty odd looking gizmos, they are. Unfortunately, I doubt I qualify for the medical pot. At this point, I can still control things with advil for the most part. Hugs, Kat

Hi, There is a prescription drug that has the same ingredient in it as pot. It is not a triple prescription. I was on it for a few months, worked wonders!!!

Kat- my pals have a device that heats up the pot without burning....it's a hand sized wooden block with a heater inside, and it plugs into the wall....you take the metal stick(a separate tool), fill the end with a hit, stick it into the heated block, wait 30 seconds and suck up the hit....it's not really smoke even though you exhale what looks like a giant hit...and there is no smell...you are left with a bag of pot that looks and somewhat smells like pot but has had most of the THC drawn out of it...you get the drug, not the tar, etc....it got me so stoned on two hits that I rambled my host's ears off...
yet I was also drinking beers, I need to test some pot alone to see about it being a muscle relaxer....my generic Flexeril was useless last week!!

If one is bent (pardon the pun) on taking smoke and chemicals in among the lung tissue it is sensible to reduce the tars and unnecessary ingredients. there is quite a market in "electronic bongs" as they are much cleaner and just involve heating to boil off the resin.I have several friends with arthritis who use dope therapeutically and recreationally too. Recently there have been studies done to figure which action of THC is effective for joint pain. Some minor changes and additions to the chemical structure gave a substance - ajulemic acid which shows promise. It has the therapeutic effect, but not the psycho-active one. I wonder if that leaves it with enough appeal.... http://preventdisease.com/news/articles/synthetic_pot.shtmlone of many... In reply to:
Sumner Burstein's earlier work in rats showed the compound almost completely blocked the joint destruction in the rodent version of rheumatoid arthritis, a crippling disorder for people. It also led to significant, though less powerful, effects on pain and inflammation.
The impetus for developing ajulemic acid fell out of Burstein's discovery years ago that the principle breakdown product of THC in the body had mild anti-inflammatory effects.
In the new work, Burstein and his colleagues tested AjA in both rat cells and blood samples from healthy human volunteers. They found AjA had a dose-dependent effect on two key immune system chemicals called interleukin-1b (IL-1b) and tumor-necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-a).
Intriguingly, Burstein says, the synthetic molecule muzzled IL-1b, which in arthritis is an agent involved in joint destruction. Yet, it was less potent against TNF-a.

Hey Guys,
Just to clear up what's what in the world of pot..
Cannabis has two main varieties, cannabis sativa and cannabis indica. Sativa is characterised by a tall growth habit, slender fingered leaves, lowish flower to leaf ratio and rather long flowering period. Indica is characterised by a bushier growth pattern with wider fingered leaves, a higher flower to leaf ratio and a shorter, more predictable flowering period. When smoked, sativa gives a clear, up, cerebral high while indica produces a 'stonier' more physical hit. In the last few decades, enthusiasts have created sativa/indica hybrids which combine the best features of both varieties.
Re Hash, the THC in bud, tends to degrade to CBCs another cannibiniod, however the hit off a CBC smoke tends to be "heavier" and is more of a mash ouh type thing, apparently.
BE happy whatever your Herb.
