Not that this will make you feel any better, but I crack all the time! I've never cracked anything or broken anything by sneezing, just all kinds of cracking going on! It's a normal thing for me!

It must have been a good one. I am still sore from it. I am hobbling around the house today and it is hard to get comfortable.
I think part of the problem was sitting in my computer chair for way to long, 8 hours or more. I can't sleep, so I will probably watch a movie on my recliner.

thanks for the advice

Jacob,

It probly was nothing, but I have known people that have cracked a rib by sneezing or couging so I would keep an eye on it...if you feel ok tomorrow then it was probly nothing, if you wake up in the morning and you have a horrible pain in your side or where a rib is then you might need to go see the Dr.

Hope you didnt do anything,

Lisa

Hope you feel ok, sneezing is one of lifes worst adventures. Everytime i sneeze i hold me nose. My kids like it, they always say "pops do that again, it's cool when your eyes pop out like that".

I do just the opposite..I give it all I've got so there's no pressure build up. Scares the heck out of everybody but I haven't blown out any important parts...yet My ribs are fused so restricting a sneeze is akin to putting a firecracker in a tin can and sealing the top.

No worries -

It sounds like you either sneezed a vertebra into or out of place. An out of place vertebra can cause some muscle discomfort, but it usually works itself back into place during sleep. A back in place vertebra usually hurts for second, but the instant release of all that pressure on your muscles makes it easier to breath all of sudden and is a real release.
