Does anyone have what looks like small black and blue spots from your shin to knee? They do not itch. They are not raised. My legs are also redish (look like razor burn) near my ankles. I take 10mg prednisone, Arava 20mg , ACV 2tbs. This is long term stuff, I can not believe this would be the cause. My rheumy said it looks like what happens with high LFT's. Just puttin it out there.

Boy that's a new one. Sorry I can't help you with that one, but will be really interrested to know what it is when you find out. Showing my stupidity here, what is "high LFT's?

Hey there,
Wow...that sounds strange.

It may not be much but I hope this helps...

Due to some Liver problems with Arava at the moment I decided to do a little more research tonight to see what actually could happen whilst on it and they did mention rashes/spots, although no description of what/where. It didn't mention wether this occured during the first 12 months of taking it (since you are a long termer) or correlated with high LFT's, although another site had some 'user testimonies' who said that rashes/spots had occured with them, and I am sure there was one who had developed rash/spots after some time of taking it...if you want I can let you know which ones they were so you can take a look for yourself...I hope you get to the bottom of it soon.

Cheers,
Jess

"high LFT's" I think are referring to the liver functioning tests.
