((Lon)) I keep thinking of your pain. My pain has been so severe this past 1 1/2 years that I would think that I just can't take it any longer.

Going to Pain Management has helped me so much. He doesn't give me any pills but the one procedure where he "scrambled" the nerves to stop the pain path have helped. Could/Would you consider something like that? I had reached the point to where I was ready to try anything and that was the 3rd different thing he tried. I am certainly not painfree. He told me that would never happen but it is tolerable now. Today is a tough day but I overdid it yesterday and we also have a lot of stuff going on which I think makes the pain/fatigue so much worse.

I just keep holding on to Jer. 29:11.

Give my love to Lin.

Blessings again.

Dow, I know some think it odd, even egotistic. But when I have to respond to good and uplifting things, I seem to be able to rethink my own problems better. I hope this was not a disapointment. I am just trying to cope.

I am human enough to fear giving unconditional love. OH, yea, to family usually. But the true glimpses of a manly, honest kind of love are so rare.

Hi Lon,
I understand how these feelings can be. In my opinion and I am sure everyone can agree, these feelings are perfectly normal. Who wouldn't have the same thoughts? While they are normal, it is best not to dwell on these thoughts for too long though. You sound like a take charge kind of guy, but since you have too much for one person to take charge of now, it might be a better idea to take a little time out from taking charge for a while. I know there are some things you must do, but my experience shows having some 'me time' really helps.

How I cope is through enterainment. I get 90% of my entertainment though the ineternet. I am big on music, nearly all types, so I spend my 'me time' going to YouTube.com watching comedians and music videos mostly, and I am really enjoying another site http://www.last.fm/, an online "create yourself" radio station to listen too. Oh it is so good to have the tunes.

Take care
James

HLA-B27+, JRA diagnosis in 1981, re-diagnosed as AS in 1988. Also iritis, colitis, and psoriasis. NSD + low carb helps me. My health makes it hard for me to post in a timely way.

Oh, dearest Lon,
I do hope you find comfort here. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. It can't take away your struggles, but, I hope you find the strength to get through this awful time.
