If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello,
I am about to loose my medicare part B coverage because my premiums are too high and the co-pays for humira and remicade are also high. This all started when the soc. security admin. found out that I got married and stopped my benefits. I do have medicare part D but I cant get the state to help me out because my husband's income exceeds the qualified amount. So my question is, can anybody think of anything that I can do to get help paying for remicade or Humira. Its already been over 2 months since my last infusion.
Im really confused about how these insurance policies work. Maybe there is someone here that can give me advice?
Does anyone know what the income requirements are for the Abbott patient assistance program? Also does anyone who what the income limit cut off for 2 people is to recieve Medi-cal(state assitance)?
I might just have to be put on DMARD tablets because of this mess that soc. sec got me into. When I called them and asked if I would loose my benefits if I got married, they lied to me and saifd , getting married will not effect your benefits at all. And now I cant get any help. My husband income is my only source of income, but hes hired on a contract basis and the coverage (cigna) is very limited on which meds they cover.
If anyone has any advice, I would really appreciate it and I apologize for such a long post. Im just in alot of pain and need a med that will work for me. Thanks for listening.
Julie

The only reason I know that you would lose it is that you must have been drawing SSI which is a form of medicaid. It is for those who haven't payed enough credits to draw SSDI. If you were drawing SSDI, Then, his wouldn't have any thing to do with yours. You may check out these links. www.patientaccessnetwork.org www.healthwellfoundation.org
