If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello,
Does anyone know which health insurance plans will help pay for my remicade infusions or Humira with a low Co-pay? I have Cigna, but its a limited plan that wont cover most of the cost.
I would be willing to try Humira since it is less costly. I just need to get an idea of what kind of insurance will cover it. Thanks
Julie

julie: in 2009, i switched to summerlin because my employer switched to a cheaper insurance plan. i just had a remicade infusion on feb 24 and i'm still waiting hear back on how much they will reimburse me. i was suprised that summerlin didn't require any doctor's letters or paperwork. they just said remicade was an approved drug. i hope that helps. i wish i could tell you how much. leslie http://islandtails.honadvblogs.com/

Hi Julie Unfortunately all insurance are different. I used to be on Remicade and my insurance company considered it as a treatment or procedure and not as a med, since I had a home health nurse that came to the house and gave me my infusions.
When I had to switch to Enbrel after building an immunity to the Remicade I get it through the same home health agency rather then my insurance company's pharmacy and they ran it as a procedure also since I was going through home health to get it.
Since my company considered it as a procedure it was covered 100% where as a med I would have been paying 30% since there isn't a generic replacement.
