If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

If so, what kind? I have never been the type to like the ice creams with the kitchen sink included .. bunch of candy cookies etc.. give me french vanilla and some fresh strawberries yum.
If it is permitted, please list some brands for me.
The same goes with frozen yogurt. The only thing I think there is I am not a fan of splenda and I think the yogurt has that.
I have the Carol Sinclair book and she mentions ice cream as something you can have, but havent seen someone mention it here. I can have some dairy.
thanks Jess :-)

http://www.scdrecipe.com/recipes-ice-cream/vanilla-frozen-yogurt/At first, I did not have dairy, then just made my own yogurt from the Breaking the Viscous Cycle by Elaine Gottshall. The yogurt is extra fermented to (hopefully) eliminate the lactose. Later on, I added dairy back in and now I do have ice cream. Everyone is so different, it can be challenging to find out what works for you. Your dog is so cute! Shih Tzu? Lhasa? Best wishes for yummy frozen treats! Jan

Jess, I was just craving some good old fashioned ice cream too and was actually going to post this same question.
I like Breyer's vanilla ice cream with fresh blueberries or strawberries also.
I am watching my dairy intake, and sugar (unless it's in a fruit), but was curious if a small ice cream treat causes any issues with the NSD.

Thanks Jan. My pup is a Shih Tzu, 4 months old named Truffles, she is quite a help. I can have some dairy, so I wondered. I think Breyer's may be the best is I think it only has 3 ingredients, all natural.. no guar gum, etc etc.. thanks. Will wait for more replies also.

Aspartame, Splenda, Nutrasweet - all nasty stuff. You do well to stay CLEAR of this toxic rubbish. To check out 'what' the sweetener line up can do to you, check out Mercola, pretty extensive list and pretty much all the facts of the matter. He has a search facility on his website: mercola.com
Read labels. Stoneyfields is a great yog. Proper stuff. IF you want frozen yog, buy Stoneyfields and freeze it...'Smile' Otherwise check out recipes and make yr own. Much the best.

Thanks Molly. I agree with you! I don't like the fake sweeteners. Ever since my hubby worked for a client who was a part time beekeeper and gave us a ginormous jar of real honey.. yum... I eat that now. I agree with you. I used to buy Splenda by the giant bags, but I dont even like the taste of that stuff anymore. I will look for Stoneyfields today and see.. that is a good idea about freezing it. Thank you. If I am up to it, I am going to try baking this week as a deversion from the pain. I will look at the site you shared as well Hope you have a good day.

I'm fairly confident that Haagen-Dazs vanilla is starch free. I bought one of those little 4 ounce containers (and they are tiny!), tested it with iodine, and if I remember correctly, it passed. Therefore, I ate.
Kind Regards, Jay
