If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Greetings.. as'ers, I am here to ask if anyone has tried Earth Shoes for their sore or tired feet? I just bought a pair and have no idea how they feel. My feet at times feel like someone crushed them or smashed a sledge hammer on the top of them, other times the heel or achilles hurt. The last ortho told me I have a predisposition toward tendonitis.. yeah, achilles 2xs in a year, and fhl or ankle tendonitis this year.. Anyhoo... i always wore heels.. i look in my closet and mourn my lovely shoes. I kept the boxes they are in, so it is like they are in their little caskets (lol?).. anyhow, now it is ugg boots with lots of comfy lining, mizunos with orthopedic inserts, naturalizers with comfort soles, and then I saw these.. what do you think. I just hope comfotable, cushiony, and less pressure on the feet.. that is what i am goin for. http://www.zappos.com/earth-pirouette-4-black-calf?zlfid=111in brown . if you think they are down right ugly you wont hurt my feelings heheh.

This is so neat. I remember when Earth Shoes first came out in the 70s. Everybody had them!! Here's a link to a Time Magazine article on them: The Fate of Earth Shoes Thanks for the reminder. I must take a look at the selection in the link. By the way, these are the same product. The history and technology are the same! Hugs,
Kat

Hey! I just took a closer look. Some of the sandals are really cute. I even found a pair in my size!!! Hmmmmm. Wonder if it would be worth it, taking the exchange rate and shipping into account.
Let us know how they feel on your feet, OK? I have flat feet and support is key for me.
Hugs,
Kat

The style is all the rage over here - everyone wearing granny-style shoes, but, they are not ergonomically designed. Just 'granny-style' shoes, with straps over. Interesting.
When I get over to the UK I'm def going to get me a pair of MBTs. Definitely.

I LOVE earth shoes. I think I have 3 pairs. There are even a pair of wedges they make that I can get away with for a couple of hours or so.
My other faves are montrail molokini flip flops - montrail website
Because they have a thermo moldable, and soft, sole. They're like custom orthotics built in. And just the right density foam under them. Love 'em. (I just noticed they have new styles of the moldable flip flops.... well, hook me up, I'm ordering some right now...)
Also, not pretty, but crocs are good too. Especially in the shower. Standing for those 10 mins are killer for me.

I haven't tried Earth shoes. I bought a pair of fitflops sandles {walkstar model}this summer. They are the most comfortable sandles I have ever owned. They are cushioned so every step feels like you are walking on a cloud. I can walk far distances without getting tired and without my feet hurting. I only wish they made shoes. I went to the website and saw they also sell boots. http://www.fitflop.com/Laurie

I have a coworker who wears nothing but Earth Shoes and says they cured her back problem.
However, if you have Achilles tendinitis, you might want to be cautious. Earth Shoes drop your heel below the forward part of your foot. This stretches the Achilles tendon and stresses it.
Earth Shoes cause you to use all of your muscles differently, so if you try them, be sure to start with a few minutes a day and work up from there.
Like everything else, what works for people varies greatly. Can you try wearing them around the house and return them if you don't like them?
Good luck! Keep trying different things until you find what works.

Thanks. Yeah, I liked the style even if they are a little granny looking,.. hey, I feel like 80, why not go that extra mile! If they hurt or feel uncomfortable, they can go back. I ordered them online, so I just try them on on the carpet. I am always on the hunt for the perfect comfortable shoes.

go look at www.dansko.com some of their shoes are ugly as sin but they're getting more cute ones and they're the most comfy shoes I can find. Really. They're nice. Rather pricey but way worth it for ME to have shoes that don't make me cry and are still cute. I'm so flippin vain. lol. -Bridget
