If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

What is the best source of non-starchy fibre? I used to get most of my fibre from grains and I noticed I've been getting tummy aches and cramps more often. I'm eating lots of veggies, but am not so good on the fruit.

Hi there,
Couple other ideas regarding fiber if ensuring you want to stay regular.
- drink enough water - eat walnuts and raisons mix - take a good probiotic (this is only supplementing I do... but actually will make sauerkraut instead now)

I also eat lots of coconut. I also use psyllium when I need a little extra.

I had similar experiences to Tim on this one. I found that once I started supplementing with a good probiotic, I was able to ditch any fiber supplement (e.g. psyllium husk) that helped keep me regular.
Best of luck!

i used to eat a lot of whole grains, not any more. but if i eat lots of fruits and veggies, then good most of the time, and when i need a little more help, i reach for the psyllium.

I have found if I am drinking about 3 litres of water a day at least and eat plenty of fruit and veg then my IBS symptoms settled right down the cycles of diahorrea and constipation were almost non existant. It takes a week or 2 to get all of the bad stuff out of your body. Maybe cut down on caffeine and dairy products for a while. oh and eating a good pot set yoghurt is very beneficial. Being a pot set means all the goodness is still in the yoghurt Keep at it.
