Yes Floyd is awesome!
I have never been big on name brand shoes or the big bucks that go with them BUT as I have gotten older I have learned that some do actually help your feet. I finally broke down and bought a pair of reboks for like $75.00 and thought that was going to ill me..lol but they sure make my feet feel good when I walk in them, now if we could just figure something out for the rest of my body..lol

 I know you are right about having more than one pair of the shoes that work well. They are just so terribly expensive. I do have a couple of pairs of Merrill's that also are pretty comfy that I change out with as well as some Rockport's that work pretty well. Nothing like these top of the line New Balance though. My PT had sent me to a different shoe store and I tried Brooks in between and they broke down in nothing flat. No more of those. I will stick with the New Balance. A big problem is dress shoes. I have a nice pair of Aravon's which come from the New Balance store but they still aren't the gorgeous shoes I would love to wear to my grand daughter's wedding.  She tells me if my dancing shoes are my bare feet, that is just fine.  That we are going to party! and she expects her grandma to have a great time shoes or no shoes.  What a sweetie. I am blessed with my family. My husband is a very caring person. I am so thankful that my feet are better. My back is making up for it today.  I didn't go to PT because I was having vertigo this a.m. That made a difference with my back. Thank you and Blessings. Possi

I hope you sleep well tonight. My dr. told me that part of sleep hygiene which lets you sleep is to stay off the computer for at least an hour before bedtime as well as TV and to not watch exciting programs. I know the computer winds me up and resets my clock.
We see the rheumie Thursday. I hope he agrees with the lower dose MSContin.

It takes one to know one. :o) I have an awesome friend also.
It is hard to spend the $$$ on shoes isn't it? These were about $115 plus the $40 for the insert plus tax. Shot a couple of hundred dollars. UG!

WELL.....things have changed again. I am very very thankful for the day of no pain but it is back with a vengence. Just telling you so no one else will go out and drop a couple of hundred bucks on shoes and inserts thinking it will take care of your foot pain. Did not happen. The shoes are good looking though. :o) I guess I will make an appt. with a Podiatrist and see if I can get another opinion. I just don't like this trouble walking.....sure couldn't do a Marathon or Triathlon. :o)
Just making it through the house very carefully.

Yes, I have a precious husband, Miki and you have to be a precious Mom and wife to be Mothering 9 kids. I am so impressed and in awe of you. I cannot imagine doing that and fighting disease. You need to get a special award that I am having trouble coming up with a name for. I am speechless. (For once) :o)
Sue, I really didn't want everyone to think that spending big bucks on shoes was going to do anything except lower the bank account. :o) No, seriously, they do help but the first night I really didn't have any pain. I hope too that I can get that back.
