If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

yesterday, my best friend and i went to a roller derby thing in a city about 45 minutes away. i was fine on the way down, took some pain meds but had a great time singing and laughing with her! i love her so much, she is so understanding about what i can and can't do...anyways the match was WAY fun! it was long tho and we had to sit on the bleachers...during the "half time" we got up to get some food and i could barley move. she had to help me down the stairs...when we finished eating my back had loosened up some...so for the second half, we sat once again in the bleachers, but the half of the half (sorry if that's confusing lol) i told her we needed to move because i needed to stand. so thankfully some people had left and we got to go somewhere that i could stand and sit if i wanted and she could sit. after we ate, i took so more pain pills, because i was due, but on the way home i was in soooooo much pain and i got really sick to my stomach. my fibro was acting up so i was having lots of pain from that plus my AS pain. when we got home, she had to help me into the house, my mom had to help me undress and get in my pj's and then get into bed. thankfully this morning, my firbro pain was all gone and the AS has minimized. whew! i think that having this fun was worth the pain...i guess you have to choose your battles!

I hate seats with no back support...I cannot sit without my back absolutely killing me. I'm glad you had a good time. I wont go anywhere with seats like that now so you must be younger than me

FUN, that's the operative word here. It is so rare to have a friend that will share a day like that with you no matter what, you should charrish that and her. I am currently staying with my very best friend this week and am enjoying the same FUN and will worry about paying for it when I get home later in the week. We (AS'er) need to take the time to enjoy what we can, with those that love us. It reminds us that we are okay no matter what shape we are in and can still enjoy life. Cindy

It's sad that seats really do matter, when me and the family go to the movies they are pretty comfortable BUT usually at least a couple of times or depending on how I feel you will see me at the back of the theatre standing up because my back hurts that bad...

I am glad you had so much fun. Now for some practical advice. Try to find a seat that is close to the isle so you can get up many times without disturbing others. Go get a beverage or go to the bathroom several times when things are slowing down. You miss a little but you will feel better in th e long run. I have found that bleachers are the absolute WORST for pain inducing. I see bleachers and I shake my head and make the sound Lyrch used to make on "The Addams Family".
I can not defeat you but I will not let you win

Hey there Pink, you sound so much better after your outing with your friend. These are the things we need to do, with the people we love and love us no matter what shape we are in. It is the emotional fuel to keep us going. Always a good reminder that life is full of good things also.
