just putting it out there...
once in a while i crave something naughty and, thanks to carol sinclair, that would be a double cheese burger (McDouble) no bun no toppings. sometimes they bother me and sometimes they dont. i have just figured out WHY!!
some of the locations sprinkle on a pepper type blend and some dont. the pepper blend bothers me.

of course the thing i crave the very most from all the fast food places are the fries! LOL!

How did you figure out the pepper thing, Sunny? I love cheeseburgers, but like Sue, gimme some fries on the side! Now please tell me that the McD's near you does not sprinkle on the evil pepper blend...

well i examine my food sometimes and a few times i noticed black specks all over the patties that could scrape off with mt fingernail but ate it anyway thinking MAYBE this is why sometimes it bothers and sometimes it doesnt. plus i started paying closer attention to the looks and taste of diff locations and between 5 mcdonalds within 20 mins of me i found one consistantly lacked the black specks and tasted less seasoned = this location does not bother me.
id MUCH rather have the fries but boy id be sooooorry!
the fries r NOT gluten free though as some think.

the fries r NOT gluten free though as some think. That's interesting to know, Sunny because they claim that they are gluten free. Don't know if it is the same across the globe or even from restaurant to restaurant judging by what you said about the burger patties. It just goes to show that you can't assume anything as a consumer.

very true! when i was on gluten free diet id have mcfries about once a month cuz my research showed they were ok. i even called to make sure nothing else was cooked in the 'fry' fryer. after starting NSD i was checking their site for ingredients on everything and BAM! i see the seasoning for fries has milk and wheat. they may have changed it now but that was in may 2010. they dont sprinkle it on? i think its put on during production.
