If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Thanks sunny & light (good name for a rock band?) -- now I have some options to look for when I make it down to the local supplement store.

i just went browsing at cvs and walgreens online just to see what other brands might exist. ran across Natrol Biobeads. ingredients same as pearls but it specified 'lemon' pectin. i bet it could be the same in pearls? natrol is more expensive but claim at least 2.5 billion of who knows what. i dont remember seeing the strains listed.

I've never flared from Healthy Trinity, and I'm uber-sensitive to starches. It's the only capsule delivered probiotic that I tried that had a clear, observable impact (e.g. no more constipation).
Other options are to consider are naturally fermented sauerkraut and maybe even some kefir. I experimented a little with coconut water kefir, and loved it. I ultimately stopped drinking coconut water kefir because of the sugar content and I've taken draconian measures to knock out all sugar.
Best of luck to whatever you try!

Hello Sunny,
Early on (first 2-3 years since it is now 9+ years), I flared at times with probiotics.
I loved Healthy Trinity and 90% of time I could take without issue. However... at times I could not.. only thing I can think of is had imbalance in gut and taking the probiotics caused fight within gut leading to inflamation.
The other probiotic I could take was a "pearl". It was not refrigerated and came in blue box.. unsure if same as you mention. But honestly I found Natrens Trinity so much better.

Hello Sunny,
I now live in Argentina.. so take neither as not available here. I have been off of probiotics for 3+ years now more or less.
In States I took Natrens daily... I took the pearl on trips as did not require refigerator. But it was not as good as Natrens for sure.

Hey Light,
Thank YOU for the Udos recommendation. I finally got some and am very pleased with them. I got the super 8 blend and have just ordered the adult blend to try also. iherb seems to be good about icing them so they remain cold most of the way thru the mail. These hot summer days tho... ugh.
I've also tried the Pearls YB (yeast balance) and they don't flare me too much. Sometimes I feel like they are helping more than they are hurting.
Funny thing here is that I posted earlier in this thread of info saying to stay away from soil derived probiotics. I would assume anything listed as vegetarian or that lacks 'contains milk' warning is soil derived? If that is the case, it seems both Udos and pearls fit that catagory. Which is strange that they are the only ones that help and don't send me into flare zone.
