If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello, i am soon to start Remicade for my AS.. My wondering is.. How big difference is there between Humira, Enbrel and Remicade.. My doctor told me Remicade is the most potent and the "strongest" alternitive.. and the best for AS! is this true? when i search on the web i think i read more about Humira and Enbrel together with AS.. So please help me if you got this answer:) (if i could choose i would take an injection, if the results are the same) Have a nice day:)

I don't believe there is any way to tell which TNF drug will work for you. From my reading remicade is no more effective for AS than any of the other ones. I don't buy the works best comment. That said My doc does say he likes remicade as he can adjust the dosing to fit individual needs. Add a bit or cut it back a bit that you can't do with pre filled shots.
I will say the Doc office will make more money on Remicade than on the other self inject drugs like Simponi, Enbrel, or Humira
No families take so little medicine as those of doctors, except those of apothecaries.

personal choice i was offered chance to try enbrel, which is the least risky and starts up and stops slowly. i beleve the 'least risky' was the best choice although unintended at the time. remicade is delivered by iv infusion takes a good bit of time, there is always a 'risk' with any vein puncture and it appears more people are somewhat more allergic to remicade. plusses and minuses

Some Dr prefer one biologic over another. Some pick because of other conditions, IBD or psoriasis are reasons to pick a particular biologic. I was given the choice of Remicade or Humira because they both are supposed to help with IBD and I have UC. It's nice if one med can treat two or more conditions at the same time.
