If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi Everyone
My daughter, Layla has turned into such a wonderful young adult, I am so proud of her. She is a 1st year teacher in a class of grade school students who have emotional and behavioral problems. She loves her job but it is very stressful dealing with kids who require so much work. She has to be on her toes and not let her guard down for a minute. She has already been threatened by a student who claimed he had a knife in his backpack and said he was going to "kill her". Luckily she was able to find the knife which led to the student being expelled. I worry about her everyday and call her often at the end of the day to see how she is doing and how her day went.
NOW she tells us that she tried out as the lead singer for a local cover band. The band heard her sing and said that they decided to stop auditions and hire her right away!!! The group has been around for a long time and plays at a lot of weddings and local bars.
She didn't get her talent from me but in runs in the family (deaf people boo when I sing). I can't wait to hear her sing with the new band. I so excited. I so proud.
Sorry to come hear and burst my shirt buttons but I just had to tell someone!!!
I can not defeat you but I will not let you win

That is fantastic. You have every right to be proud and to brag about it. Ka is like one big extended family. Your joys are ours. You obviously did a pretty good job bringing her up so pat on the back for you also. Might I add I could never do the job she is doing. Both jobs for that matter. Takes one heck of a stable well balanced person to work with those kids and they realy need people like your daughter.

Jeff, You can bust your buttons here anytime. We are proud parents. It does our hearts wonders when our young adult children do great things, big and small. Cindy

Terrific. The good stuff going on inside a family or with friends is what makes getting through AS aggravated days worth it.
Sounds like an awesome daughter. Scary story about the knife wielding student.
