If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

my fingers... oh my i have for years had this problem of loose joins from time to time. and my fingers would bend sideways if carrying something heavy in them. It was Sooo painful. and it would happen without warning. I just try to never use my fingers to support things... but my whole hand and forearms... I use 2 hands to open gas cap and have to use my left to pump gas. there are no full service stations in town.
My right arm right now is a disaster and i have rearranged my home office desk so my keyboard and mice are on a table instead of desk and i am sure it will kill me if i dont get the 216$ (cdn) keyboard holder that adjusts in every which way but my make shift one no longer cut it.
Also on my right forearm i had been using a band it to help releive the "tennis Elbow" but then the muscles in forearm are revolting.. not sure if it is AS or Fibro but it sucks. Writing is a chore but i have so much to do in my life and i just have to pace myself.
i right now have the band holding an ice pack to my arm and just took the pred for the day. hope it helps i have a glass of red wine breathing for when i get back from shopping.
Hang in there... it gets ... well at least you have company in the misery ;-)

Wow! Thanks Sue. I tried ice on Friday when I whacked my hand against something, and it worked pretty well. I totally know what you are saying on the jars and bags to open!! And the weird thing is that when my hands are feeling good I open a jar and make them hurt all over again): But I am taking the same precautions as you on protecting my hands. I went camping over the weekend and my hands did ok. Back on the other hand, not so much. And my rib cage was sore also. Sometimes I had a hard time taking a breath. But when we went canoeing my hands didn't bother me a bit!! Maybe they are moody like me!! lol Or it was the jello shots!! And the canoeing was some good stretching believe it or not. But of course I have my hubby to help me row(: I am so happy i found this site, and to have all of you to help. Trish

I thought I was imagining things when I would carry things with my fingers and the pain was unbearable. Havent been diagnosed with fibro just AS for now. And when my hand was really bad my forearm hurt too!! Glad I'm not alone, but saddend that we all have to go thru this): Not seeing the rhumy until mid aug, so I have a lot written down for him to talk about. My md put me on some naproxen to hold me over until then. She is not comfortable prescribing me anything else without knowing a lot about my condition. I give her credit for that. Well a toast to the good days and [*bleep*] on the rest!! Trish
