Hi All,

A couple of things. Reducing wheat intake seems to help my AS. More so high dosages of good quality fish oil (or equivalent), basically got rid of AS related back pain. I measure my AS level by the severeness of early morning back pain, the kind that wakes you.

I'm now trying cod liver oil (green pastures brand) instead of fish oil.

Now you understand why so many of us give the No/Low starch diet a go and so many find it beneficial! Starch is our enemy and our nemesis' friend... eek

I take 15 ml of "Melrose" liquid fish oil every night and it really helps with the night waking and morning stiffness - but the no starch diet helps there too - it was the first sign that I had that I was responding to the NSD - I slept for longer before the dreadful night pain and stiffness called to me! cool

I haven't found many folks getting good results from cod liver oil...maybe you should be patriotic and try Mobicosa made from the NZ green lip muscle??? smirk
