glad to hear things are looking up for your DH smile

good luck with the ablations and the biologic smile

and if you decide to get a home ultrasound machine, let me know and i'll share the one i got. with both my PT's and Louise's help at picking out the one that seemed like it would mimic the treatments i was getting in the PT's or chiro's office, since they worked so well for me. but of course, your decision. i do think a lot of doctors and PTs would cringe at it. but my health practitioners have been very supportive, partly i think before my husband and i are very aware of the precautions to take.

If I don't get some amazing results from Enbrel (just 2 more weeks till starting, I hope), I'll be bugging the pain doc about it in October. Maybe she would send me for some PT to see if it helps, but I'm a bit hesitant because I don't usually hurt enough in early afternoon (before work) to see if it does me any good. Make sense? If I could see someone at midnight, I would have a better idea of if it helps. LOL.

Did you get rain from the storm? Wind?

i know what you mean. when i go to the rheumy in the middle of the day usually before i've worked much, i'm not in too much pain unless in the middle of a flare so hard to convey how much pain i'm in at times.

still, you could try it. it should also help not hurt as much the next day.

here, the weather is fine, hundreds of miles from the coast, just a bit overcast due to irene. they say it'll get a bit windy, but i'm sure compared to the wind we get in the winter, it'll be nothing. mostly hoping family is ok. niece with cell phone that she uses for the internet is my communication line. she's fine but says she too hasn't heard from family since before the storm hit. they're all in MD and NJ, so hoping its just loss of power and not flooding. my family's all pretty cautious, so think they should all be ok.
