thinking of you and brian today  good to hear that your mother can help you out with a lawyer. i too agree with you, someone soon has got to see the error of this, just a matter of time. even if you are at work. somehow being in touch with brian as often through the day as possible might be a good thing. take care and thinking of you

Hey all, I think my sweetie turned a corner yesterday afternoon. At least, enough that I can breathe easily while I'm at work. No more talk of dying and he's forcing himself to eat, even tho it's the last thing he wants to do.
Still trying to get a lawyer.
Good god, I'm tired. My shoulders are ... well, anyone who's read "The Secret Garden" will get this ... I'm sure I have a hump growing. My chiro took extra care with me this week and I have an appointment with my therapist today. We were hoping to drive to Ottawa to see his son, whose platoon is going to be at the National Military History Museum on Saturday morning, but my sweetie isn't up to the 5 hour drive. They really need to see each other right now, so that is too bad.
And I'm making myself eat. Nothing sits well right now. Nothing. Except the nasty-[*bleep*] wheat-laden frozen lasagna I bought the other day. That sat OK in my stomach. Nothing else.
And I was down to 5 cigarettes a day, dammit!!!
Anyway, that's it for now.

Oh dear Kat, I've been MIA for a while, came back here tonight to do a quick check and found this. I'm horrified at the situation you are both in and my heart is crying. I have no solutions for you only love and lots of extra prayers. I will make sure I'm checking back this week to see how you are both doing.

OH NO Kat!!!!
That is horrible news....how can that happen after bankruptcy?? They just won't accept any of his evidence??? crazy....just insane. I don't have any proper advice, there must be some way to present evidence, I don't know....hang in there both of you, my thoughts go out to you...
