The instructions show to inject on the top of the leg. This caused me plenty of bruising. One time I tried it just about 1 inch off center and it made all the difference in the world. No bruising. Also, instructions don't mention waiting for the 2nd click before you pull the needle out of your leg. Wait for the 2nd click!

Good luck with your Enbrel! laugh

That's wonderful news!! I hope you get some relief from it! We I took Enbrel I would gets a raised red bump at the injection site, maybe the size of a quarter, and it would go away after a few days. Every once in a while it woulg get itchy, but overall never was a real annoyance for me. Like Donna said, it does hurt during the injection but as soon as it's done the pain stops (for me anyways). So when building up the courage to do the injection I would just tell myself, it'll only hurt for 15 seconds and then I'd try to focus on a song or something to be distracted for it. Are you getting a pen that you just click the top and hold it there, or one where you do the injection yourself?

Good luck and congrats!
