Thanks for everyones comments and advice,we have thought about it alot and our conclusion is he knows that Sherry and I both lost our moms within the last year,and Sherry having just being dx with the AS maybe he felt we had enough on our plate and that's just how it worked out. He knows that if he needs us for anything he can call or stop by,meanwhile we sent out a card,and going to let him have his space.Thanks again everyone,hope all had a happy easter. Jake&Sherry

sorry for your losses. my husband also lost both his parents within a few years of one another, a few years ago, so i know how hard that is. i'm sure your friend will appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness
